It was total luck that while at Joann Fabrics this past weekend, I flipped through a Vogue pattern book (they were on sale for $3.99!) and found a perfect dress pattern for this year’s Christmas party – made even more perfect because the pattern works with fabric I already have in my stash. Honestly, it was the line drawing that sold me on the pattern and not the photo of the model wearing the finished dress. The voluminous sleeves! That magnificent sash! I Needless to say, this will be my next project and I better get a move on cutting it out. The party is only two weeks away!
