Are you a crafter and looking for a way to give back and help out Hurricane Sandy victims? Join the Sandy Craftalong and make a warm weather item (think socks, hats, scarves, gloves, etc) to send to victims living without heat and power. I was lucky to not lose power or have anything happen to my home and belongings, but many others were not as fortunate.
Knit/stitch/craft up something warm quickly – the goal is to start distributing items next week. Maybe you have some stash yarn perfect for a bulky knit hat or an old moth-eaten sweater that would make a great pair of mittens.
