The Pattern Pyramid made it all the way from Heather in Montreal to moi in Boston! I was so excited to see a big, fat envelope arrive in the mail covered in stamps and a customs form. Nothing like receiving international mail, it’s exciting for some reason. I claimed the pattern I told Heather I wanted to make: McCall’s 4116, a 1974 bikini-babe halter top that I thought would be perfect for the beach. I’m not sure if I’m daring enough to do the exposed midriff version of the top, I think I’ll stick to view D, the covered up version…
And now it’s your turn! Here’s what’s left in the stash:
And I added in two from my stash, plus a few extra goodies:
Now it’s your turn to win! Leave a comment below with what pattern you’d like to make from the Pattern Pyramid. I’ll pick a new Pyramider using the Random Number Generator next Monday, April 29 (hey hey, that’s my birthday!). And don’t worry if you’re outside the United States, this is open to sewists everywhere.
McCall's 5525! I've been looking for a cute jacket pattern!
Simplicity 7863! The jacket is too cute!
Oh, the Sewaholic Alma is so lovely!
I'd probably go for the Sewaholic Alma, I've not tried one of her patterns yet (I know!).
Wow, the Sewaholic Alma is a popular choice! It's the pattern I had my eye on, too, even though I should actually take advantage of the number of hard to find vintage patterns in this stash. Here's to hoping I can finally win one of these pyramid giveaways! (amy.ahearta at gmail dot com)
Oh man! That's a hard choice. I think my first choice would be the Alma. My second choice would be the vintage Vogue and my third would be the Vogue wrap dress. 🙂 This is why I own so many patterns! So hard to choose.
I would take the Sewaholic top. Looks like a lot of people feel that way 🙂
