This, my friends, is a small sampling of the garments I’ve made in the past few months that have yet to be photographed for the blog – there’s more I realized I have after I took this photo, and it doesn’t include my finished handknits!. My boyfriend usually takes the photos for the blog, but our schedules don’t match up very well now for photo taking with my travelling every week and his crazy work hours. When we are together, the weather is usually crappy or it’s too dark outside. So, I said to myself that something has got to change! Behold:
After all of these years of blogging with my DSLR, I finally found a remote control that’s compatible with my 10 year-old camera. This should allow me to post garment photos on a much more regular basis now. It’s going to take some time getting used to positioning the tripod, which I haven’t done a whole lot when I have had to use it, but having a remote sure will beat running back and forth resetting the timer on my camera for each shot.
Even though it’s in the 20s today, I’m going to take this baby out for a test drive and see if I can photograph some garments!
